I have no clue if this is new for you, but I always wondered how i could copy multi-display-pages of output in xterm. The solution is rather simple:

1. go to the start of the text
2. click left mouse where to start the selection
3. go to the end of the text
4. click right mouse where to end the selection

Too easy!
