If you ever heard "oh printing and scanning on linux is sooo hard!", you are wrong! Today i set up a raspberry pi to act as a print and scan server for a HP Photosmart 8100, HP Officejet 4150 (it has build in wifi but no wifi scanning) and a Brother QL-560 Label Printer - and everything, i mean everything, worked out of the box.

Only one thing is quite weird: the xsane gui seems to have a problem using the Feeder of the Officejet scanner. I can seleft ADF and also create a multipage project, but only the first page is read by the software. The scanner scans all pages but they never show up... It seems that gscan2pdf solves this problem. Scanning of multiple pages over the feeder works great (but the scanner says in the end "cannot send fax", why so ever...)
