For completness i did the same test on one of the LAN ports. The max i saw was about 42MByte/s which is much lower for example than a connection between my laptop and my desktop over a netgear switch.

I also saw blogposts about high CPU Usage while using the network: i can confirm that. The CPU usage is about 50% on one core.
